  • "I have driven a number of Honda vehicles over the years--having owned or driven a CRX, Civic Wagon SI, Accord and Odyssey in the past, and those experiences probably pushed me towards purchasing the Ridgeline even though some of the reviews said that it was overpriced. What would move my experience from a 3-star to a 5-star? Perhaps the following would be a good place to start:1) Fuel efficiency: even while driving in Eco mode, and consistently working within the "green" indicator lights, I'm not getting much more than 15mpg even though you advertised this vehicle at 18-25mpg.2) Transmission: not being able to shift down more than D4 (think Hyundai or any other number of vehicles out there which allow you to use a "manual override" to downshift for greater performance and safety would have been great)3) Underwhelming performance: even without towing a load, the Ridgeline lags going up gradual inclines.4) Sound system: even though I bought "more than half-way up the food chain" the sound system is very basic.5) Lack of technology features: can't believe that it's not possible to connect more than one device at a time via Bluetooth or even USB to sound system.6) And the while Ridgeline is a more comfortable drive than say a Ford F-150 or other "truck-looking" vehicle out there, it sure looks like an ugly Pilot.7) Do you think Honda could provide some system upgrades to the computer system to at least improve fuel efficiency???"

"My wife and I both enjoy driving our new 2017 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E and are averaging around 23 to 24 mpg. We use it for delivering our fruit farm produce, picking up supplies for our farm and most of our shopping trips. The lockable in bed storage is handy for securing items purchased when visiting multiple stores during shopping trips. We love the Honda Sensing safety features like the Collision Mitigation Braking System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision and Land Departure warning systems, Blind Spot Information system and other safety features built into our Ridgeline."

Car Brakes: How Do You Know When to Change Them?
