Question: security is locked and car wont start. Is there a switch?
there is nothing wrong with the car but the security light is blinking and it seems as if the starter has been disengaged

Since your question was posted back on the 4th, I'm hoping you've already got it figured out.
I was told by the Infiniti dealer that if this happens you'll probably have to have it towed to the dealer. This was in regards to my 2000 QX4 with using a non-chipped key in the ignition. If someone got in the car and used a non-coded key to try to start it (after 4th attempt), the vehicle would kill power to ignition and lock you out. Good Luck, Jbryan
