Question: my engine makes a funny noise and shuts off on its own
My engine makes a funny rattling noise as if it wants to shut off and the rpm go up and down when the engine idles what could it be?

My 2006 Nissan just started making a rattley niose. I bought teh car bc it was so quiet, but no longer.

My car did the same thing...also have a 2000 maxima.....when was the last time u had a tune up.....that could b the problem....n sad to say try not to use 87 gas...
