Question: Do radiator stop leak products work?
Is there any harm in using them?

I would definitely stay away - they have the potential to cause more harm than good, including harming not only the water pump, but potentially clogging the end tanks on the radiator and/or clogging the cooling passages in the cylinder head.

They work and dont damag anything if you use the putty kind. It is the copper flake kind you have to worry about.
